Dr. Mike Belkowski
Welcome back, everybody. Thanks for joining me on another episode of The Energy Code. On today's episode, we're going to cover three of the more interesting pieces of research as it relates to photo bio modulation, or red light therapy. And just do a brief recap, a brief synopsis of each one of those three pieces of research. Then we're going to turn our attention to the newest, skincare product from Bio Light.
00;01;05;02 - 00;01;14;02
Dr. Mike Belkowski
There's two derivations of it, and we'll go over each one. And the ingredients included, and the role of roles that they play.
00;01;14;02 - 00;01;18;23
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Within improving skin health, skin hydration, anti-aging, skincare,
00;01;18;23 - 00;01;40;09
Dr. Mike Belkowski
things of that nature. And then lastly, keep your ears peeled for the ad, if you will, in the middle of this episode, as I will be releasing the information for this year's pre Black Friday sale, which at the time of this episode release will be occurring about,
00;01;40;09 - 00;01;42;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
within 24 hours or so.
00;01;42;19 - 00;01;51;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
But if you listen to the ad, you can take advantage of it now. So you the loyal energy Code listeners can be the first to,
00;01;51;17 - 00;01;58;29
Dr. Mike Belkowski
get your foot in the door, so to speak, for this year's pre Black Friday sale. Again, I'll be releasing that information in,
00;01;58;29 - 00;02;08;00
Dr. Mike Belkowski
the proverbial ad, so stay posted. But now let's jump into the red light therapy research.
00;02;08;02 - 00;02;10;13
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So these are three of the most noteworthy,
00;02;10;13 - 00;02;23;29
Dr. Mike Belkowski
recent studies again in followed by a modulation in the past 30 days or so. And this first one is on the optimization of photo by modulation for spinal cord injury. And this is published,
00;02;23;29 - 00;02;27;15
Dr. Mike Belkowski
just a handful of days ago at this point, November 5th,
00;02;27;15 - 00;02;32;24
Dr. Mike Belkowski
2025, in photochemistry, in photo biology.
00;02;32;26 - 00;02;44;15
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Journal. And it's entitled Optimization of Photo bio modulation Therapy for spinal Cord injury a review. So this review,
00;02;44;15 - 00;02;58;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
tackles the complex secondary cascades after spinal cord injury, such as oxidative stress, inflammation, cellular apoptosis, glial scarring. And
00;02;58;17 - 00;03;01;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
The review assesses how PBM,
00;03;01;17 - 00;03;09;23
Dr. Mike Belkowski
in the red and near-infrared spectrum might intervene. And the review identifies a major gap in the field.
00;03;09;23 - 00;03;36;24
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And we've talked about this for years at this point, especially with doctor Praveen Irani. And the review identifies a lack of standardization in PBM parameters as a major gap in the field. Specifically, they're talking about the wavelengths used, power density, timing, relative to injury, meaning when was a spinal cord injury and when was PBM applied. Was it hours later?
00;03;36;24 - 00;03;40;04
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Was a weeks later? Was a months was it years later?
00;03;40;04 - 00;03;57;23
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And then the dosing schedule. How many times per day? How many times per week? And we we know about this again. We've talked about this time and time again that somehow, someway those studying PBM for whatever condition or whatever physical, physiological,
00;03;57;23 - 00;04;02;20
Dr. Mike Belkowski
consequence or benefit there needs to be a standardization.
00;04;02;22 - 00;04;07;25
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Because again, not everyone's reporting wavelengths, believe it or not, or some people are even calling,
00;04;07;25 - 00;04;27;18
Dr. Mike Belkowski
wavelengths in the near-infrared. They're calling a red light, or even some people are using, wavelengths in the red light spectrum, 600 to 700 nanometer, and they're calling it infrared or near-infrared. So even that is confusing. And they're not getting that necessarily correct in the research, let alone the standardization of everyone should be reporting the wavelengths.
00;04;27;18 - 00;04;31;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Everyone should be reporting the power density or the light irradiance.
00;04;31;17 - 00;04;58;18
Dr. Mike Belkowski
They should be reporting the duration of treatment how many times per week. So on and so forth. There needs to be standardization. So they really hit that hard in this review. And then for our interest as it relates to the mitochondria and biogenesis and my tof ag things of this nature, the review really connects PBMs mechanisms to the potential repair of nervous tissue.
00;04;58;18 - 00;05;00;12
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Excuse me. So they,
00;05;00;12 - 00;05;13;02
Dr. Mike Belkowski
really or they allude to I should say, improved perfusion. They talk about mitochondrial activation and reduced inflammation. So there's a lot of great,
00;05;13;02 - 00;05;20;04
Dr. Mike Belkowski
albeit somewhat obvious mechanisms that come from red light therapy and how it could improve or at least,
00;05;20;22 - 00;05;33;18
Dr. Mike Belkowski
you know, benefit someone dealing with a spinal cord injury. And again, the nerves, nervous tissue, whether it's peripheral or central nervous system is extremely, extremely dense with mitochondria.
00;05;33;20 - 00;05;37;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And what does it take to recover from an injury or from some type of,
00;05;37;17 - 00;06;00;06
Dr. Mike Belkowski
condition, if you will, energy. So if you can improve the mitochondria, whether that's nutraceutical, whether that's light or otherwise, different type of frequency perhaps PMF, then you're probably going to improve the recovery process relative to not doing that. So red light therapy is an obvious candidate to,
00;06;00;06 - 00;06;02;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
amplify the healing benefits and,
00;06;02;17 - 00;06;08;12
Dr. Mike Belkowski
accelerate the progression of, of an injury, no less a spinal cord injury.
00;06;08;14 - 00;06;33;26
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So some of the key takeaways from this review is that there's growing evidence that PBM can modulate the post injury environment specifically for spinal cord injuries. But of course, we could we could relay this to a lot of potential injuries, so long as they include mitochondria, which they all do, unless we're talking about blood specifically just red blood, red blood cells specifically.
00;06;33;29 - 00;07;01;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
But until protocols are standardized, they go on to say translation to clinic will remain limited. But that's not to say that people aren't using red light therapy for nerve or spinal cord injury. It's just that we don't have a standard protocol that we can rely upon that says if someone has X, Y, or Z type of spinal cord injury, we can reliably use this,
00;07;01;17 - 00;07;10;11
Dr. Mike Belkowski
exact red light therapy or PBM device because it has these specific specs, the specific wavelengths in power density and light irradiance.
00;07;10;13 - 00;07;30;29
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And we can reliably apply this dosage and know that we're going to get the specific result. So again we have a long way to go in the PBM research on on all types of conditions that need to be standardized. Again, we're still sifting our way through all this research in kind of iterating,
00;07;30;29 - 00;07;35;19
Dr. Mike Belkowski
on whether it's a skin or spinal cord or the brain or what have you.
00;07;35;22 - 00;07;48;13
Dr. Mike Belkowski
But again, standardization needs to happen not just with the research, but with with devices to a certain degree, because every device has a different setting. And that really throws a wrench into standardizing things,
00;07;48;13 - 00;08;07;29
Dr. Mike Belkowski
to say the least. And another key takeaway from this review for application in the Wellness and Longevity spaces, this study specifically highlights the critical role, just like I alluded to of dose timing and target tissue depth for effect, not just,
00;08;07;29 - 00;08;11;05
Dr. Mike Belkowski
this thought process of shine red light
00;08;11;05 - 00;08;12;23
Dr. Mike Belkowski
on things and good things will happen.
00;08;12;23 - 00;08;21;05
Dr. Mike Belkowski
While that can be true in some instances, especially when we're trying to provide some type of clinical application that's just not going to,
00;08;21;05 - 00;08;24;18
Dr. Mike Belkowski
that's just not good enough. And we have to be much more,
00;08;24;18 - 00;08;31;25
Dr. Mike Belkowski
systematic and have much more robust information and research to make those type of proclamations,
00;08;31;25 - 00;08;37;29
Dr. Mike Belkowski
about a certain apparatus or a certain modality in its application in the clinic.
00;08;38;02 - 00;08;42;22
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Now, that's not to say people, again, aren't using this in med spa or at home,
00;08;42;22 - 00;08;46;09
Dr. Mike Belkowski
and have some sense of direction. And again, even with,
00;08;46;09 - 00;08;51;27
Dr. Mike Belkowski
my red light therapy guide e-book and we can look through the different pieces of research in the nerve,
00;08;51;27 - 00;09;08;21
Dr. Mike Belkowski
the nervous system section of that book. And we can still apply some of the current research that's out there, meaning what wavelengths to the use, what was the dosage, because all the research I include with those protocols, all those pieces of research led to positive results.
00;09;08;23 - 00;09;11;04
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So of course, those can be modulated or,
00;09;11;04 - 00;09;34;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
it's not black and white, meaning it's not going to work for every single body because any one. But it gives us some type of guidance because again, that piece of research did lead to a positive result. If it's included in that compendium that I've provided people with, with my Red Light Therapy Guide e-book that allows people to produce those protocols.
00;09;34;07 - 00;11;44;22
Dr. Mike Belkowski
00;11;45;06 - 00;12;05;16
Dr. Mike Belkowski
But regardless, in terms of clinical and this this is where a lot of research is trying to go is provide clinical guidelines. Because once we can do that, then red light therapy is mainstream when we can provide clinical protocols for skin health, for wound healing, for women's health, for,
00;12;05;16 - 00;12;12;13
Dr. Mike Belkowski
neurodegeneration, for spinal cord injury. If we literally have clinical guidelines, red light therapy will be mainstream.
00;12;12;15 - 00;12;14;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Moving along to the second study,
00;12;14;17 - 00;12;35;04
Dr. Mike Belkowski
that was pretty interesting from the past month or so. And this one was from just three days ago. At the time of this recording. It's entitled Photo by Modulation Therapy with low level light in chronic central serous Correo retinopathy, which has to do with the eye. And this is a pilot study.
00;12;35;07 - 00;12;37;12
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So in this study,
00;12;37;12 - 00;12;57;27
Dr. Mike Belkowski
it was a clinical pilot study applying PBM in a human ocular disease known as chronic central serous correo retinopathy, which is a condition with persistent sub retinal fluid and vision loss. So the protocol they utilized was a dual wavelength,
00;12;57;27 - 00;13;04;23
Dr. Mike Belkowski
via a device that's called eye light, spelled e y e dash league TX.
00;13;04;26 - 00;13;07;03
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And it's, apparently,
00;13;07;03 - 00;13;21;22
Dr. Mike Belkowski
registered trademark device in the dual wavelengths is 590 nanometer. So technically not in the red, but just on the precipice of red light. And then 625 nanometer, which is a shorter wavelength
00;13;21;22 - 00;13;39;01
Dr. Mike Belkowski
of red light. And they utilize this device, the eye light once weekly for four weeks, then monthly for two months. So we're talking about a total of six treatments over three months,
00;13;39;01 - 00;13;42;00
Dr. Mike Belkowski
which which probably blows people's minds if their use of the,
00;13;42;00 - 00;13;52;02
Dr. Mike Belkowski
the generalized protocol in the consumer market of using a red light therapy device every single day, again, they're using it six times over three months to get,
00;13;52;02 - 00;13;53;09
Dr. Mike Belkowski
well, the results were about to talk
00;13;53;09 - 00;14;24;28
Dr. Mike Belkowski
about. And so the outcomes at six months were that the mean best corrected visual acuity, also known as a B bcba, improved from about 67 to about 78 EET. Readers letters. Again, I don't know what that all means, but it improved from 67 to 78. The SRF or the sub retinal fluid resolved completely in 70% of eyes seven zero.
00;14;25;00 - 00;15;02;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
No adverse events reported. So pretty mind blowing for for only six treatments over over three months. But some of the key takeaways from this study PBM appears safe and shows promising functional improvement in a human trial, not just in vitro, which are cells or animals. And that's specific to this eye condition. The wavelength selection is interesting 590 and 625 nanometer, meaning invisible to red spectrum rather than just purely near-infrared.
00;15;02;20 - 00;15;40;28
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So the mechanism may involve not only mitochondrial photo stimulation, but also vascular or retinal cellular effects. And that's a good point because remember, the mitochondria respond technically to just red and near-infrared spectra. So 590 just being outside of the visible red spectrum would not technically stimulate the mitochondria like we're accustomed to with traditional red light therapy. So there must be some other mechanism going on with 590 in that orange amber light that's contributing to these results.
00;15;41;01 - 00;16;04;28
Dr. Mike Belkowski
The one thing I would like to know from this study is specifically what time of the day were they applying the PBM treatment? Because as we know from previous research, and this was more so for visual and color acuity versus a human ocular disease. But regardless, when done in the morning, and this is the other study, when done in the morning,
00;16;04;28 - 00;16;12;19
Dr. Mike Belkowski
red light therapy for, for a short period of time, a handful of minutes, it led to a statistically significant improvement in,
00;16;12;19 - 00;16;14;26
Dr. Mike Belkowski
again, visual and color acuity.
00;16;14;29 - 00;16;34;25
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And this was just on one time a week. So let's say you do your treatment on Monday in the morning. You know, as long as you do that consistently, it led to statistically significant results in visual and color acuity when they did that exact same treatment. But in the afternoon, no benefits were noticed. So there's something particularly in the mitochondria in the eye.
00;16;34;27 - 00;16;53;01
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Or they respond to the morning in the light, not in the afternoon. So I would hazard a guess that they did their treatments in the morning. But but maybe they didn't I don't know, it would be interesting to note that though. And then moving along to the third and last study of interest from the past month,
00;16;53;01 - 00;17;11;12
Dr. Mike Belkowski
this one is entitled Transcranial Photo by modulation promotes traumatic brain injury recovery via modulating glial cell polarization and neuroinflammation, a study of 1016 nanometer light emitting diodes.
00;17;11;14 - 00;17;28;24
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So 1064 or 1064 nanometer, that's deep into the near infrared light, much longer than were traditionally, used to talking about in the eight hundreds, maybe nine hundreds. But again, to me, it makes sense because to get through the the cranium, to get through the skull,
00;17;28;24 - 00;17;35;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
you lose a lot of the light with shorter wavelengths. So a longer wavelength does theoretically make sense.
00;17;35;19 - 00;18;10;29
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So this study was a mechanistic animal study applying 1064 nanometer LEDs. That's noteworthy because I'm not using lasers, which traditionally would be used for transcranial. And they're applying these LEDs in a murine TBI model. Marine being a rodent. And so what they found in this study was improved cognitive and emotional outcomes such as anxiety, depression, type behaviors, spatial cognitive deficits, wrote a rod performance.
00;18;11;01 - 00;18;25;04
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And for those that don't know which I didn't, the rotor rod performance test is a scientific tool used to measure a lab animals motor coordination balance and endurance on a rotating rod.
00;18;25;04 - 00;18;41;25
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So almost like a hamster wheel. But they're trying to keep their balance on a rod. But then back to the findings here on the cellular level, they noticed reduced apoptosis, enhanced neurogenesis and synaptic remodeling, improved blood brain barrier integrity.
00;18;41;27 - 00;18;54;13
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And they noticed this via tight junction proteins and modulation of glial cells toward an anti-inflammatory phenotype. So the key takeaways from this study,
00;18;54;13 - 00;19;06;26
Dr. Mike Belkowski
one is that the 1064 nanometer is notable because of deeper tissue penetration and relevance for brain and central nervous system applications versus the superficial,
00;19;06;26 - 00;19;13;19
Dr. Mike Belkowski
red light, which doesn't penetrate the skull. And even the shorter end of the near-infrared spectrum.
00;19;13;22 - 00;19;20;01
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Another key takeaway was that the mechanistic findings align with our,
00;19;20;01 - 00;19;23;20
Dr. Mike Belkowski
mitochondrial oxidative stress, my autophagy,
00;19;23;20 - 00;19;46;06
Dr. Mike Belkowski
interests in that photo by a modulation appears to modulate neuroinflammation, glial polarization, neurovascular integrity, all of which intersect with mitochondrial health and systemic bioenergetics. So, on the point of standardization, it would be nice to know the light intensity or the light irradiance of the LEDs.
00;19;46;06 - 00;19;52;12
Dr. Mike Belkowski
It would be nice to know how many times per week was this conducted, for how many weeks or months was this conducted?
00;19;52;12 - 00;20;02;23
Dr. Mike Belkowski
The how long prior to getting red light therapy did they have the TBI? You know, things of that nature. So again, the standardization of PBM research,
00;20;02;23 - 00;20;10;12
Dr. Mike Belkowski
that's where we need to get is reporting the exact same specs or data for a given piece of research.
00;20;10;14 - 00;20;28;16
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So interestingly enough, the top three PBM articles from the past month all contain research on PBM and its benefits in some way, shape or form for the nervous system. We had the first study looking at spinal cord injury. The second study looking at,
00;20;28;16 - 00;20;37;06
Dr. Mike Belkowski
eyes and retinopathy. And then the third study looking at TBI is and how PBM can impact TBI recovery.
00;20;37;08 - 00;20;44;22
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So a little bit of nervous PBM research for November. Yes. That was very cheesy.
00;20;44;22 - 00;21;01;20
Dr. Mike Belkowski
But now moving along to another very exciting announcement on behalf of Bio Light. And is our newest release. Yeah. And this is a skincare product. And technically there's two of them, but they're under the same umbrella as you will
00;21;01;20 - 00;21;06;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
learn shortly. But, this is part of the skincare system that we're building.
00;21;06;07 - 00;21;28;06
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So this is another addition onto the bio cream. And then there is a third part of the skincare protocol that will come in the next handful of weeks itself. But this one's very exciting. And it comes on the heels of our newest supplement release, which was Bio Minerals, arguably one of the best ways to,
00;21;28;06 - 00;21;31;14
Dr. Mike Belkowski
fortify your mineralization,
00;21;31;14 - 00;21;38;13
Dr. Mike Belkowski
internally via three of the best resources of different types of minerals.
00;21;38;13 - 00;22;05;05
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And we discussed this a couple of episodes ago, but just for a brief recap. Purified folic acid, humic acid, specifically derived from Sheila, Jeet, and then Kenton marine minerals from Quinton hypertonic which which comes from the ocean. And so that beautiful blend and it's certain concentrations and you apply that to your drinking water. So you can take a straight if you would like.
00;22;05;07 - 00;22;08;15
Dr. Mike Belkowski
But you also what I do personally is I add,
00;22;08;15 - 00;22;18;08
Dr. Mike Belkowski
I typically drink from a water bottle, so I'll add about 7 or 8 squirts of this bio minerals into the water. And thus, as I'm drinking the water perpetually throughout the day,
00;22;18;08 - 00;22;25;28
Dr. Mike Belkowski
I'm getting that, constant flow and influx of those minerals from the bio mineral concentration.
00;22;26;01 - 00;22;48;24
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So what we're doing now from the skincare side of things is we're applying this mineralization via a spray. So this first skincare product and again there are two derivations or two iterations of the same thing. So they're both going to be called Bio minerals Mist. The second one will have a different name as we'll get here
00;22;48;24 - 00;22;50;00
Dr. Mike Belkowski
shortly.
00;22;50;03 - 00;23;10;20
Dr. Mike Belkowski
But let's just cover Bio Minerals mist first. And it's exactly what it sounds like. It's the concentration of bio minerals. The supplement, but in a diluted form to spray on your skin. So just like the bio mineral supplement, we're formulating this with natural spring water as the carrier,
00;23;10;20 - 00;23;12;22
Dr. Mike Belkowski
which is going to carry the,
00;23;12;22 - 00;23;27;06
Dr. Mike Belkowski
the bio minerals concentrate, which contains that purified folic acid, the woojin sun, which is a golden medicine, purified folic acid is going to carry the humic acid from the purified Sheila Jeet.
00;23;27;08 - 00;23;38;24
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And then again, the marine trace minerals from the Quinton hypertonic. So just going walking through the key ingredients here. Not going to belabor it too much here but the natural spring water itself.
00;23;38;24 - 00;23;48;21
Dr. Mike Belkowski
We're using a pure mineral mineral rich spring water rather than just purified water or distilled water or even reverse osmosis water, which is basically dead water.
00;23;48;24 - 00;24;16;09
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So we're using mineral rich spring water, which supports the concept of delivering trace minerals and electrolytes inherently from the carrier and the natural spring water may also provide a slightly richer ionic milieu for mineral transport in the skin. So it pairs beautifully, of course, with the bio minerals concentrate itself. But then let's just review quickly the the ingredients in the concentrate.
00;24;16;11 - 00;24;39;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And we'll just pair the folic and humic acids together. So these low molecular weight humic substances, because both Volvic and humic acids are humic substances, they're both highly water soluble and can chelating minerals and assist in their transport. They also have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-microbial potential in topical use.
00;24;39;17 - 00;24;49;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
In terms of the mineral trace minerals and electrolytes from the Quinton seawater, these contribute to skin's ionic balance.
00;24;49;09 - 00;25;20;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
The supports cell hydration, barrier integrity, micro circulation, and ionic transport across the skin surface. While direct clinical trials for each mineral topically are limited, the physiological rationale is quite strong. Skin is an electro chemical organ, and mineral support helps optimize its function. So if we run through the skin health benefits, let's start at the hydration and barrier support.
00;25;20;09 - 00;25;59;18
Dr. Mike Belkowski
With spring water plus minerals, the skin's moisture balance is better supported and the barrier function can improve in terms of irritation, reduction, reduction, and calming. The phobic and humic acids help calm inflammation and oxidative stress, yielding calmer skin from a nutrient rich mineral content perspective. The Bio Minerals Mist delivers trace elements that may have been depleted. It supports skin energy, zation and micro circulatory function.
00;25;59;21 - 00;26;34;20
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And then lastly, it provides a gentle mineral priming, meaning it prepares skin to better absorb other actives and improves skin's receptivity to serums and creams. And so why does this bio minerals mist stand out? It's because the product uses natural spring water base plus a proprietary bio minerals concentrate. So it's a, you can think of it as a mineral priming mist rather than simply a hydrator.
00;26;34;27 - 00;26;49;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So it emphasizes skin's physiology and its ionic integrity. So really, I see the bio minerals mist as something that can be used throughout the day. It can be used as your hydrator,
00;26;49;07 - 00;26;56;04
Dr. Mike Belkowski
again, especially during these seasons where dry skin is more likely. So right now for me, especially up here in the dry,
00;26;56;04 - 00;27;06;24
Dr. Mike Belkowski
dryness of Montana during the late fall winter, early spring months, dry skin is is, is something you have to combat perpetually, seemingly.
00;27;06;26 - 00;27;10;05
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So something like a bio minerals mist is something I could put on,
00;27;10;05 - 00;27;25;27
Dr. Mike Belkowski
as needed throughout the day because, again, we're just replenishing and rehydrating and criminalizing the skin layers. Now, this will work in concert beautifully with the bio cream, which I see is something,
00;27;25;27 - 00;27;33;21
Dr. Mike Belkowski
to be especially put on in the evening. But also that was initially intended to be used in concert with red light therapy sessions.
00;27;33;28 - 00;27;43;04
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So anytime you are going to do red light therapy or you're going to be getting robust sunlight, I would be applying the the bio cream where you want,
00;27;43;04 - 00;27;45;09
Dr. Mike Belkowski
especially enhanced or
00;27;45;09 - 00;27;48;04
Dr. Mike Belkowski
accentuated benefits thanks to the,
00;27;48;04 - 00;28;01;16
Dr. Mike Belkowski
ingredients that are inside the bio cream. But in terms of a sequential morning day evening temporal sequence, I see the bio cream being the evening,
00;28;01;16 - 00;28;02;24
Dr. Mike Belkowski
skincare product.
00;28;02;27 - 00;28;11;13
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And the bio minerals mist is something that you use throughout the day. We'll have something coming specifically for the morning,
00;28;11;13 - 00;28;18;03
Dr. Mike Belkowski
again in the coming weeks. But also, even if you're not going to be using the bio creamer, you're not going to be using this this other,
00;28;18;03 - 00;28;32;09
Dr. Mike Belkowski
skincare product that's coming out soon. The Bio Minerals mist is, is kind of a no brainer to add to your skincare regimen because, again, it's something you can be utilizing consistently throughout the day as necessary, and it just feels nice to spray it on your skin.
00;28;32;09 - 00;28;33;26
Dr. Mike Belkowski
It really does feel good.
00;28;33;26 - 00;28;51;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Again, this is an all literally in all natural product, and it's just going to pair beautifully with any skincare regimen where you're utilizing the skincare serum. You're utilizing the bio minerals mist throughout the day as necessary. And then you're utilizing,
00;28;51;07 - 00;28;56;03
Dr. Mike Belkowski
some type of hydrating cream, anti-aging cream at night, you know, as you're sleeping.
00;28;56;05 - 00;29;18;05
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So this is just the perfect intersection or bridge, I should say, between that serum delivery for the day and then that cream delivery in the evening, this and again when you spray it on your face or you spray it on your skin, it just feels good. Yeah. It leaves a little bit of a do on your skin. And you just either let that evaporate or you can just help rub it in a little bit.
00;29;18;07 - 00;29;19;00
Dr. Mike Belkowski
But,
00;29;19;00 - 00;29;31;20
Dr. Mike Belkowski
it just really does feel luxurious. But wait, there's more. That's right. So we're going to talk about the the second bio minerals mist products. So the first one is a beautiful,
00;29;31;20 - 00;29;58;06
Dr. Mike Belkowski
blend of the bio minerals concentrate and natural spring water. This next one is called bio minerals Platinum mist. So bio minerals platinum mist is a high performance mineral infusion designed to restore the skin's natural energy, hydration and vitality at the cellular and bio energetic level.
00;29;58;09 - 00;30;42;10
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And it really does represent the the essence of the bio light philosophy, merging light, minerals and structured water to optimize mitochondrial function and skin health. So this platinum mist just isn't a facial mist. It's a quantum mineral delivery system that connects biochemistry and biophysics to restore the skin's natural radiance. So let's begin at the foundation. Compared to the bio minerals mist, which was natural spring water, the bio Minerals platinum mist is utilizing light water that deuterium depleted water that we've incorporated into our bio blue,
00;30;42;10 - 00;30;44;01
Dr. Mike Belkowski
upgraded bio blue formula.
00;30;44;04 - 00;31;11;23
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So just as a quick reminder, deuterium is a heavier isotope of hydrogen that, when it's present in excess, can slow down biochemical reactions, specifically those in the mitochondria where it junks up that rotary motor at the ATP synthase. Thus, it decreases energy production, increases reactive oxygen species. And that's not what we want because that lowers your redox potential.
00;31;12;00 - 00;31;28;17
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So if we can lower our deuterium level, we will inherently improve ATP energy production, metabolic water production in the mitochondria and decrease oxidative stress. And so now think of that at the skin.
00;31;28;17 - 00;31;39;08
Dr. Mike Belkowski
At the skin cell level, we're improving. I mean, just like your heart and your brain and your liver and your muscles have mitochondria, so do your skin.
00;31;39;11 - 00;31;57;06
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So if we can again amplify their bio energetic, physiology or improve their redox potential, meaning just making sure those mitochondria are as functional as possible, meaning those skin cells are going to have as much energy as they need. You're going to have better. And,
00;31;57;06 - 00;32;11;13
Dr. Mike Belkowski
enhanced natural skin cell turnover, reduced inflammation. And from a hydration perspective, think about what the mitochondria produce, not just energy but metabolic water or deuterium depleted water.
00;32;11;15 - 00;32;13;28
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So if you can improve your skin's,
00;32;13;28 - 00;32;35;03
Dr. Mike Belkowski
mitochondrial function, you're inherently going to improve its hydration. So ironically, we're using light water, deuterium depleted water to increase the efficiency of our mitochondria. Thus, they produce more endogenous deuterium depleted water, which keeps your skin hydrated.
00;32;35;03 - 00;32;44;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
As much as possible. So deuterium depleted water is literally lighter water. I mean, remember the conversation I had with,
00;32;44;07 - 00;32;53;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
the CEO of Light Water, Viktor Seigel, off ski, and kind of his adventure in his journey with deuterium depleted water.
00;32;53;07 - 00;33;21;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And as he lower the deuterium in his body, he said that he literally and metaphorically felt lighter. So, again, at the skin cell level in the mitochondria, we can apply that, that concept. And so it allows for more efficient hydrogen exchange when, when the water is lighter, and that supports mitochondrial activity and the natural structuring of water around proteins in membranes.
00;33;21;09 - 00;33;54;04
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So on the skin, deuterium depleted water may enhance hydration, ionic transport and redox coherence, effectively improving the energetic and structural environment of the cells. So in short, by having light water as a foundation for this bio minerals platinum mist, it helps charge the skin's hydration system, creating a more bioactive, coherent interface for minerals and antioxidants to function.
00;33;54;04 - 00;33;59;19
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So that's one of the upgrades with the Platinum mist is we're using deuterium depleted water.
00;33;59;21 - 00;34;01;13
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Now let's get to the core.
00;34;01;13 - 00;34;04;05
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Just a brief review because we we just covered it with
00;34;04;05 - 00;34;23;24
Dr. Mike Belkowski
the bio minerals mist. But that's of course, also at the core of this platinum mist is that bio minerals concentrate that beautiful blend of folic acid, humic acid and trace marine minerals, folic acid as the biological carrier, enhancing nutrient penetration and antioxidant protection.
00;34;24;00 - 00;34;28;25
Dr. Mike Belkowski
It's also shown to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial benefits,
00;34;28;25 - 00;35;04;03
Dr. Mike Belkowski
especially for calming, irritated or inflamed skin. Humic acids from the Sheila Geat contribute to gentle detoxification and microbial balance, helping purify the skin and support the microbiome. The The Quinton Marine Trace minerals help restore the ionic charge of the epidermis, which further supports hydration, conductivity and cellular signaling. So collectively, this mineral matrix rebalances the skin's electrical potential, and this is truly the foundation of cellular vitality and repair.
00;35;04;06 - 00;35;37;11
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Electrical potential. Redox potential, mitochondrial function. They're all relatively synonymous with one another. So again, this this mineral matrix by itself holds massive potential when you take it, internally as a supplement, but also topically for your skin health. It's amazing. But now let's go to the power ingredient of this platinum mist, which is colloidal platinum. And this is going to pair beautifully with with this new,
00;35;37;11 - 00;35;42;00
Dr. Mike Belkowski
third part of the skincare system coming out again in a couple of weeks here, and you'll see what I mean.
00;35;42;00 - 00;36;20;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
But, let's just stick to the colloidal platinum for now. So again, the signature active in platinum mist. Is this true colloidal platinum at 10 p.m., which utilizes a 99.99% pure platinum nanoparticles suspended in water. And interestingly enough, platinum is one of the most stable and intelligent redox metals known. It's a smart antioxidant that balances oxidative and reductive processes rather than simply blocking free radicals.
00;36;20;10 - 00;36;59;18
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So with that being said, let's let's dig into some research around colloidal platinum and its benefits for skin health in terms of antioxidant and redox regulation, platinum nanoparticles scavenge reactive oxygen species, neutralizing oxidative stress while maintaining redox balance. In terms of anti-aging and collagen support in mouse models, platinum nanoparticles reversed skin thinning and increased dermal thickness while reducing lipid oxidation.
00;36;59;20 - 00;37;48;00
Dr. Mike Belkowski
It's a lot of good stuff. From an anti-microbial activity perspective, platinum nanoparticles inhibit bacterial biofilm formation and again reduce reactive oxygen species related cellular damage. And then lastly, from a dermal regeneration perspective, reviews highlight Platinum's ability to support fibroblast activity, collagen synthesis, and overall skin texture improvement. So in this Platinum Mist formula, colloidal platinum functions as a catalytic redox modulator, meaning it helps restore balance, protects collagen, enhances firmness, and also promotes micro circulation for a luminous complexion.
00;37;48;02 - 00;38;17;27
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So platinum is literally the smart metal of skin care, constantly adapting to what your skin needs, whether it be column protection or renewal. So I'm very, very excited to get this platinum mist out there. And again, that's the hero ingredient. But we've also integrated a handful of other amazing ingredients to the Platinum Mist formulation. So again, we got the upgrade with the light water deuterium depleted water.
00;38;18;00 - 00;38;35;20
Dr. Mike Belkowski
We have the colloidal platinum. Now let's get to the supporting cast, which are some hydrators, some Osmo lights and some electrolytes. So the first one is glycerin. And this is organic glycerin derived from coconuts. And this is a proven,
00;38;35;20 - 00;38;53;20
Dr. Mike Belkowski
skin identical humectant that attracts and retains moisture within the stratum corneum. It reduces trans epidermal water loss, improves elasticity, softness, and the dewy glow associated with hydrated, youthful skin.
00;38;53;23 - 00;39;35;29
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And then we have betaine or tri methyl glycine. And this is a natural amino acid derivative that functions as an osmo light. So it protects the skin cells against dehydration and environmental stress. Research shows Betadine increases tight junction proteins, strengthening the skin barrier. Other research shows it also reduces irritation from surfactants and environmental aggressors. So in the platinum mist, betaine ensures long lasting hydration and maintains osmotic equilibrium, keeping skin cells plump, balanced and resilient.
00;39;35;29 - 00;39;59;28
Dr. Mike Belkowski
The next ingredient is magnesium chloride, and this is from seawater. So of course magnesium is vital for over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body, including those in DNA repair and energy production in the skin. Magnesium supports barrier integrity, regulates inflammation, and enhances healing.
00;39;59;28 - 00;40;10;27
Dr. Mike Belkowski
2024 study demonstrated that magnesium chloride promotes keratinocytes migration and wound closure through MMP seven activation.
00;40;11;00 - 00;40;30;18
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Topically, it replenishes mineral stores, calms irritation, and helps the skin regain its natural equilibrium. Magnesium also improves the bioelectric conductivity of skin, synergize with folic acid in platinum to enhance redox and hydration flow.
00;40;30;18 - 00;40;50;23
Dr. Mike Belkowski
The next ingredient is aloe vera and this is at 200 x concentrate. So aloe vera is rich in polysaccharides, amino acids and antioxidants, and this provides potent anti-inflammatory and wound healing support while delivering cooling, soothing hydration.
00;40;50;25 - 00;41;01;09
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And of course, this isn't necessarily for wound healing specifically. But regardless, aloe vera enhances skin's repair response and just provides a clean, fresh finish.
00;41;01;09 - 00;41;20;27
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Then we have silica, and this is derived from bamboo extract. So this supplies ortho salicylic acid, which is a precursor for collagen and elastin synthesis. I think that might be important for skin health. Having a precursor for collagen and elastin.
00;41;21;00 - 00;41;46;23
Dr. Mike Belkowski
But silica also supports the extracellular matrix. So this improves the firmness, elasticity and overall texture. And this silica works synergistically with the magnesium and with the platinum to strengthen the dermal structure. While maintaining suppleness. So just like the bio minerals mist this bio minerals platinum mist,
00;41;46;23 - 00;41;53;19
Dr. Mike Belkowski
they both come in. Maya on bottles and with a mr. on top, you twist it to unlock it if you will.
00;41;53;19 - 00;41;57;10
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Then you can push down and mist it. Then you can twist it to lock it. But regardless.
00;41;57;10 - 00;42;20;15
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So they have the same bottle, same mechanism. We're still utilizing that beautiful Maya on violet glass to enhance the the frequency, the vitality, the longevity of whatever's inside of that glass. So no different than than these bio mineral mists, but this platinum mist, one mist, it it feels ultra light cooling and and almost electrically alive.
00;42;20;17 - 00;42;53;16
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And this mist isn't just hydration, it's ionic activation. The full and magnesium ions move across the skin's surface, improving charge distribution and absorption. The platinum and the deuterium depleted water base create a subtle, energizing effect, almost like the skin is breathing. Again, it primes the skin perfectly for serums, red light therapy or anti-aging skin creams, making every subsequent step more effective.
00;42;53;18 - 00;42;55;25
Dr. Mike Belkowski
And you can really think of this platinum mist as,
00;42;55;25 - 00;43;03;08
Dr. Mike Belkowski
grounding and energizing phase of your skincare, balancing electrons while infusing minerals.
00;43;03;08 - 00;43;08;14
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So some of the potential benefits one could receive,
00;43;08;14 - 00;43;21;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
that you could feel and see, I should say with this platinum mist, is that a deeply hydrates and re minerals of the skin with a spectrum of bioavailable electrolytes balances redox activity.
00;43;21;10 - 00;44;00;23
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Protecting against oxidative stress in premature aging. Improves firmness and elasticity through the platinum silica synergy. It calms and soothes sensitive or inflamed skin with that aloe, the magnesium, and the full, thick acid. It supports barrier strength and cellular hydration via the Betadine and glycerin, and then it enhances radiance and energy, restoring the skin's natural glow in vibrancy. So, just like the bio minerals mist, you can use the Platinum Mist as a primer for your serums in the morning.
00;44;00;29 - 00;44;21;24
Dr. Mike Belkowski
Use it throughout the day as necessary just to again prime your skin, energize your skin, hydrate your skin, and then use it in the evening to prime that. For the example, the bio cream that you're using in the evening. You could use it, to prime the bio cream prior to a red light therapy session or prior to going outside.
00;44;21;26 - 00;44;56;19
Dr. Mike Belkowski
So you could just use this as liberally as necessary. And it's just going to integrate and, synergize with your anti-aging skincare regimen. So the takeaway message about the bio minerals Platinum Mist is this bio minerals platinum mist is not just skin care, it's skin energy technology. It reconnects your skin to the mineral intelligence that governs cellular vitality, hydration and repair.
00;44;56;22 - 00;45;30;07
Dr. Mike Belkowski
It's where biochemistry meets biophysics and beauty becomes energy. That is the platinum mist. And at the time of this episode recording release the bio minerals mist in the bio Minerals Platinum Mist are both released or will be within the next 24 hours or so, but basically these are both released at the time you're listening to this recording.
