The BioCream was specifically designed to enhance the effects and overall results of red light therapy treatments and maximize the health benefits of full-spectrum light exposure from the sun while also protecting against the deleterious effects of UV radiation.

Incorporating 100% organic botanics and the first skincare product ever to contain pharmaceutical-grade leucomethyelene blue, this cream has an unprecedented combination of anti-aging ingredients (see ingredient list below) that will undoubtedly lead to healthier, more vibrant skin. 

Why did we choose to integrate leucomethylene blue instead of methylene blue? Leucomethylene blue is the reduced form of methylene blue, having lower toxicity, higher bioabsorption and instant antioxidant effect.

For the science nerds: Leucomethylene blue can cycle readily between oxidized and reduced forms in mitochondria by directly transferring its electrons to cytochrome c, and getting re-oxidized to MB. Such characteristics allow it to work as a catalytic redox cycler in mitochondria. As a result, Leuco MB possesses the capacity to protect cells against the harmful effects of oxidative stress brought on by pathogenic circumstances, thus working as a regenerative antioxidant.

BEWARE!! of other methylene blue skincare products that utilize Basic Blue 9 in their ingredients list as their source of methylene blue. Basic Blue 9 is a subpar quality of methylene blue that is utilized in the production of colored paper and is also commonly used for coloring fabrics such as silk, wool, and linen. Other uses include as a pigment for bamboo and wood colour, in the production of ink and colour lake pigments and as a biological and bacteriological stain. If it's not a quality of methylene blue you would ingest, it shouldn't be used as a topical as it will be absorbed into your body via your skin!

Ingredients:

Leucomethylene blue (USP pharmaceutical grade, >99.5%) - methylene blue (MB) has been shown to increase skin hydration and thickness, upregulate production of elastin and collagen, reduce aging signs in old skin cells, upregulate the expression of Nrf2 (an essential regulator of antioxidant defense system) and its downstream antioxidant genes and increase tissue viability. A research study demonstrated that MB is a better and safer reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenger than NAC, MitoQ, and mTEM. Another study found that MB treatment reduced DNA damages caused by UVB irradiation and subsequent cell death. At the same concentrations, MB showed more effective UVB absorption ability than Oxybenzone and significantly outperformed Oxybenzone in the prevention of UVB-induced DNA damage and the clearance of UVA-induced cellular ROS. 

*C60 – high antioxidant power to prevent skin aging such as spots and wrinkles (172x more than vitamin C); potent skin moisturizer, enhancing skin integrity; brightening of the skin tone; powerful anti-aging properties.

Phytodynamic amino acids – converts UV light to red light with a complex amino acid profile; clinically proven to increase production of fibronectin, which is said to be "the holy grail of anti-aging."

*Astaxanthin – has been shown in clinical studies to increase skin moisture, moisture retention, elasticity, as well as promote skin smoothness, decreasing fine lines and wrinkles; also helps lighten dark spots; potent protection against ultraviolet radiation, assisting the skin in protecting itself against damage by the sun.

*Shungite – Shungite is said to be the “miracle stone” and/or “the stone of life” and is known for its incredible healing and protection properties, including: boosting energy and immune system, balancing mind and emotions, protecting from harmful EMFs, detoxification and purification of the body. Shungite carries powerful antioxidant properties as evidenced by the improvement of several skin test parameters (moisture, elasticity, wrinkle, roughness, pore size & pigmentation).

*Turmeric – contains antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties; blocks the enzyme elastase, which attacks your skin’s ability to produce elastin — a substance which gives your skin structure; combats sun damage and signs of aging; provides glow and luster to the skin.

*Cupuacu butter – an excellent emollient that restores elasticity to the skin while providing antioxidants and hydration. It is considered a “super-moisturizer” because of its hydrophilic properties. As it carries water to the skin it makes skin supple, soft and more elastic.

Copper peptides – great for stem cells, as research demonstrates that stem cell activity can be significantly increased with GHK = great for tissue repair; antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects and can promote wound healing, collagen stimulation and attraction of immune cells; improved skin texture and treatment of scarring.

*Geranium rose – reputed to soothe and improve the quality of skin by balancing its natural oil production, minimizing the appearance of enlarged pores and eliminating infection- or acne-causing bacteria

*Humic Acids – anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral properties; anti-mutagenic and anti-clastigenic effects, preventing genetic material from mutating - a key factor in skin cancer prevention. Humic acids contain zinc and magnesium, both linked to increased collagen production that can lead to younger, firmer-looking skin.

Storage: It is highly recommended to store your luxurious cream in a dry, cool room. DO NOT allow the cream to remain in hot conditions (over 70°F) for extended periods of time, as this can denature some of the high-quality, organic ingredients as well as turn the texture from a thick cream to a thinner consistency. Keep in mind that the BioCream is temperamental to warmer temperatures because we do NOT add any preservatives, stabilizers, fillers, binders, etc. in order to make this the highest-quality, cleanest skincare product possible.

Miron violet glass works like a natural filter that only lets the sunlight that protects and improves the quality of premium and sensitive substances.

There is a large spectrum of packaging materials available nowadays, of which many are permeable to visible light.

Miron Violet glass blocks the complete spectrum of visible light with the exception of the violet part. At the same time it allows a certain part to be permeable for radiation in the spectral range of UV-A, & infrared light. This unique combination offers optimal protection against the ageing processes that are released by visible light, thus lengthening durability and potency of products.
